Company Description:

Recast Capital  is a 100% women-owned venture capital platform that invests in and supports top-tier emerging fund managers, with a focus on diverse partnerships. The platform was founded by seasoned, institutionally-trained fund investors  Courtney McCrea  (10 years at Weathergage Capital and former growth equity GP) and  Sara Zulkosky  (former Greenspring Associates, family office investor, and start-up operator), and built to drive returns and create change in the venture industry.

The core of the platform is a fund-of-funds providing LPs diversified exposure to top-performing emerging, diverse managers (US-based, Fund I-III), as well as access to a pipeline of tomorrow’s industry-leading franchises.

As strong complements to the fund-of-funds, the platform also includes a tuition-free, virtual educational program called the  Enablement Program, providing learning and development for emerging venture managers (109 funds have participated to date) and  Recast Accelerate, a new program to support women-led and nonbinary-led emerging managers in venture, including educational programming and $100k/fund to be leveraged in support of their fund backend operations. Both the Enablement and Accelerate programs are powerful differentiators for Recast, helping Recast support more of the community than just those that it can invest in. You can learn more about the platform at  www.recastcapital.com.
